Our Field Sports Heritage
The Bulford & Tidworth Garrison Shoot (BTGS) is a not-for-profit, member-run shoot operating across the eastern edge of the Salisbury Plain Training Area (SPTA). Rooted in the Garrison’s military heritage and countryside traditions, we provide safe, responsible and enjoyable game shooting for serving personnel, veterans and civilians alike.
Whether you’re new to the field or a seasoned Shot, you’ll find a warm welcome, a well-run day, and the chance to be part of a proud and purposeful garrison tradition.

What We Offer
Shoot days are based at the historic Tidworth Cricket Club Pavilion. Guns gather for breakfast before heading out to the first drive, enjoy elevenses in the field, and return for afternoon tea. It’s a sporting and social experience built on camaraderie, military tradition and good stewardship.

Three Driven Syndicates -
A, B & C
Formal driven days for pheasant, partridge and duck. Each syndicate comprises 10 Guns and enjoys a full programme of days across the season.

D Syndicate - Regimental Days
Structured shooting opportunities for Regiments across Tidworth, Bulford and Larkhill Garrisons, including 3rd (UK) Division.

Boundary Syndicate
Walked-up and march-and-shoot days across some of the UK’s most iconic chalk grassland - perfect for those who enjoy fieldcraft, varied terrain and good company.
